One of the oldest matcha cultivars, the Samidori matcha is often characterised by its graceful and delicate tones, beneath which lies a subtle complexity. Although soft and understated on the initial palate, layers of flavour and umami gradually unfold with each sip, complemented with an almost creamy finish.
Our Samidori matcha is from Uji, Kyoto and has been produced from only the first harvest leaves in Spring, the most prestigious harvest, known for its exceptional quality and flavour.
